RunTuner ("we", "us", or "our") provides AI-assisted running coaching. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we collect it, how we use it, and who we share it with.
1. Data We Collect
1.1 Data You Provide
- Profile data such as age range, sex, height, weight, goals, and preferences.
- Messages you send in AI Coach.
- Subscription and purchase state provided through App Store billing.
1.2 Health and Workout Data
With your HealthKit permission, the app reads workout and health metrics (for example distance, duration, pace, heart rate, HRV, and sleep-related values) to provide training analysis and recommendations.
1.3 Technical Data
- Device/app version information and diagnostics logs needed to operate the service.
- Authentication/session metadata required for secure access.
2. AI Processing and Third-Party Sharing
AI Coach requires third-party processing. We request your explicit in-app permission before sending personal data to AI processors.
2.1 Data Sent for AI Requests
- Your AI prompt message.
- Selected workout context included in that request.
- Tool outputs required by your request (for example health metrics, weather, or location context when used).
2.2 Recipients
- Cloudflare AI Gateway (routing/processing layer).
- Model providers behind the gateway, including OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google, depending on routing configuration.
2.3 When We Send It
Data is sent only when you actively use AI Coach features and after you have granted the AI data-sharing consent in app.
2.4 Protection and Use Limits
- Data is transmitted over encrypted channels (HTTPS/WSS).
- We do not sell personal data or HealthKit-derived data.
- HealthKit data is not used for advertising.
- Third-party processors are required to provide data protection commitments for service processing.
3. How We Use Data
- Generate workout analysis, coaching responses, and training plans.
- Sync your profile and subscription access state.
- Maintain app reliability, security, and abuse prevention.
4. Data Retention
We retain data only as long as necessary to provide the service and comply with legal obligations. Retention periods depend on data type, account status, and operational needs.
5. Your Controls
- You can decline AI data sharing; AI Coach requests will not be sent.
- You can revoke HealthKit access anytime in iOS Settings.
- You can request account/data support via email.
6. Children
The service is not intended for children under the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction.
